Will's music is refreshing relief from the mainstream. The grooves are great. The orchestration is multilayered but subtle. The more I listen to it, the more I notice. The guitar work is clean and textural, with a great sense of tone. Perhaps the most interesting thing about Will's music is his voice. The vocals have a spontaneous, spoken quality that is both surprising and full of gravelly personality, more Tom Waits and Iggy Pop than Pavarotti. I loved it! Phil Sylvester, Pheo Guitars |
